On February 9, 1964, The Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan show for the first time. It was estimated that an audience of 73 million were watching, the largest TV audience up to that date. I was in that audience. I thought that was about the coolest thing I had ever seen. By June of 1964 I was taking guitar lessons (thanks mom and dad). On my birthday in October 1964 they bought me my first electric guitar. My cousin was taking drum lessons. And with a couple more kids in the neighborhood we formed a band. From that date until now, I have almost always been in a band. It has been quite a journey. It has been a journey of fun, excitement, creativity, discovery, camaraderie and friendships.
